Two anchors, four reporters and zero credibility

We are not the 9.30 news. We tried asking for that slot, but they said 'no'. We are so exclusive that we only come up once a week. Believing us is like believing crocodiles make good pets. Contrary to popular belief, any similarities to actual people or events are purely coincidental.

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good night. Wherever you are on the globe and whenever you watch this. Welcome to The Noose, your favourite news broadcast. We are the most serious people on TV and have seven viewers and counting. We are the people that Channel News Asia looks up to, but does not admit. We have just won the award for contributing nothing at all towards Singapore's media!

The Channel 5 comedy 'news' sketch has returned for a third season, with the cast and crew plotting a primetime revolution! It's a special news bulletin with wacky reporters and anchors and totally nonsensical news that they think truly matter. Adrienna Wow (played by Michelle Chong) and B.B. See (played by Chua En Lai) bring you the latest news that no one would care about and watch the team of oddball reporters, Nida Goodwood (played by Michelle Chong), Jacques [read jack-ass] Ooi (played by Chua En Lai), Andre Chichak (played by Alaric Tay) and Jojo Joget (played by Suhaimi Yusof) travel around Singapore just to get the hottest news, fresh from the press, and roleplay various characters just to relay the news across all Singaporeans!

Expect more of the irreverent, the in-depth, the shallow, and sometimes the all-too blatant truth that nobody else wants to address! A weekly round up of all the headlines and stories you won't see anywhere else, this fictional Noose bulletin will bring endless of laughter for the whole family!

Several interviews have made ordinary people famous overnight! Take Barbarella (above, played by Michelle Chong) for example. Whether her last name is Posh Beckham or Chantel-Thomas, this Sarong Party Girl leader with the obsession in ang mohs and beach volleyball is well received by many.

And take Leticia (above, played by Michelle Chong, again) for example. A simple maid who comes to Singapore to work becomes popular overnight when her interview is broadcast on TV and her comments are always accepted readily, regardless of her take in any important situation.

See how The Noose investigates on Lucky Underwear to improve the luck of IR casino visitors; Fishball Price Fixing, where the number of fishballs you get regardless of the stall is always six; Taxi Drivers Learn French to better serve customers after more condominiums and housing projects adopt French sounding names; camping in District Ten(t), the latest craze in Singapore and so much more.

You can visit the website for more irrelevant and useless information at http://xinmsn.com/thenoose.
There's no excuse to not watch it. You can always watch it here.
And so here's a short quotation:
"Life is short. Watch The Noose, but don't believe them! You'll be glad you did."
