Second Chance

Have you done something wrong before?
Or perhaps you did it correctly, but it did not appear as such.
And even in this, there are various reasons why it didn't happen like how it was supposed to.
But you don't have to bother explaining, because no one will bother to listen.

But ultimately, I'm sure we all regret our doing.
Yet, how far can 'I'm sorry' go to get others' forgiveness?

You might be entrusted to organise a large-scale event.
Foiling the event will just yield you nothing but the loss of trust.
Without trust, you'll be fighting to survive.

People go with the flow. Once you're out, you're out.
It's all about capabilities and talents these days.

If you don't meet it, that's it.
No one bothers about what you say; What you say bothers no one.
After all, this is a competitive world.
This is the real world. A world so real.
It's reality, and reality is always cruel.

Sometimes in life, we are given chances.
There's a first chance, but there will always be a last chance.
And your first chance might very well be your last.

So have you done something wrong before?
I'm sure we all have.
To human is to err.

But will there always be a second chance?

  1. Second chance? I feel that we all tried our best to do things but sometimes it just doesn't turn out the way that we want them to happen. So we have done something as described as "wrong". Wrong does not nescessarily mean something bad. This could mean something good. If you do something wrong, you can learn your mistake and strive to best your best. :)

  2. Life's like that :/ I guess almost everyone can relate to this subject. Sometimes, second chances are not enough. People might forgive you, but scars still remain. It sticks with you for a lifetime. And sometimes you want to rub it off so badly, but you know you can't :/ I'm sure that we all have sinned, and according to the Bible, the penalty for sin is death. Thankfully, Jesus died on the cross to set us free, so that we can live again and be reunited with God, and have eternal life. (: That's a great gift, isn't it? All we need to do is ask for forgiveness, and we'll get it.

  3. Only when you really earn your second chance, will you get it. Insincerity will only take away all your chances. Thats why, 'i'm sorry' isn't just about apologising. Its showing that you are willing to change. yet.... there are people who just use it as a tool
